Steak 48 Featured in Eater Chicago’s 20 Essential Steakhouses

The family who founded Mastro’s brought another steakhouse to town in 2017. Straddling the line between modern and traditional, Steak 48’s two floors are equipped with an open kitchen, fireplaces, multiple bars, and an outdoor patio. The locally-sourced, responsibly-farmed meats are wet-aged for 28 days and can be topped with accompaniments like burrata or foie gras.
